What you’ll gain
- A working answer to what your job actually is now, which is rarely what you were doing brilliantly six months ago.
- Delegation that survives — what you hand over, to whom, and how you check without hovering.
- The difficult conversations rehearsed: underperformance, a promotion you cannot give, a decision you disagree with.
- A meeting and reporting rhythm that keeps you informed without becoming everyone’s blocker.
Who it’s for
First-time managers in their first year, and experienced managers who have just doubled the size of their team or inherited one in trouble.
The process
- Discovery call — 45 minutes, free.
- Session one — the role. What you are being measured on, what you are actually spending your time on, and the distance between the two.
- Sessions two to four — the mechanics. Delegation, meetings, feedback, and the specific people who are on your mind.
- Sessions five and six — the hard conversations. Prepared, rehearsed, then reviewed afterward.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, and many do. I invoice the company and we agree in writing what is reported back — normally attendance only. Session content stays between us.
That is the most common reason people book this. The first two sessions are usually about what to stop doing, not what to start.
Not formally. If your organization already runs one, bring the results and we will work through them. Otherwise we get the same signal from three short conversations you have yourself, which people tend to be more honest in anyway.
