What you’ll gain
- A calendar you can look at on Monday and recognize as a description of your priorities.
- A default answer to new requests, and the sentence that delivers it.
- A triage rule for the weeks that fall apart, decided in advance rather than at 4pm on a Thursday.
- Roughly four to six hours a week back, in most cases, from commitments that should never have been agreed to.
Who it’s for
Anyone who ends the week busy and unable to say what they finished. Especially useful for people whose work has no natural stopping point.
The process
- Discovery call — 45 minutes, free.
- Session one — the week, as it is. A real log rather than a remembered one.
- Sessions two and three — cutting. What goes, who has to hear about it, and how.
- Session four — the rules. Written down: what you say yes to, what you say no to, what happens when the week breaks.
Frequently asked questions
No. Whatever you already open every day is the right tool. Most people's problem is the number of things they have agreed to, not where they wrote them down.
So have most clients. The books are fine. What they cannot do is sit with you while you tell one specific person no, which is where the actual difficulty lives.
For a lot of people, yes. This is the shortest engagement I offer and the one clients most often finish early. If it turns out the real issue is the job or the load, we will say so and change what we are working on.
